participationIf you are repeatedly tardy or continuously fail to bring the expected materials to class, points may be deducted from your participation grade.
This is English class! A major component of our class is based on discussions about the books we will be reading. You are expected to participate in these discussions. |
late workLate work IS accepted. However, for each day that the assignment is late, you will receive the deduction of one whole letter grade.
|
extra creditOne way you can earn extra credit is to type your assignments. You will get two additional points added onto each assignment. While all of your formal papers must be typed, you are encouraged to type your homework and other assignments that get turned in. This improves your typing and computer skills and also makes your work look more professional. Additional extra credit opportunities will be announced at Ms. Healey's discretion.

absensesIf you are absent, it is your responsibility to check our class website, as well as check in with me the day you return to class to find out what you missed. Be sure to check the absentee folder to find any handouts you may have missed.
